Admission CriteriaAppropriate ReferralsFemales ages 11–17 in public or private agency custody who:• Need long-term residential treatment• Face emotional challenges• Require life skills education• Need personal value development• Lack adequate self-control• Require a stable, supportive environment• Are free of communicable diseasesInappropriate Referrals*Youth who:• Display psychotic behaviors• Pose an active danger to self or others• Have a history of arson• Function at an IQ below 70• Show active substance abuse behavior• Are known sexual perpetrators
